Lover Reborn: Black Dagger Brotherhood series: Book 10 - J.R. Ward Confession time – I was never invested enough in this series to really care about Wellsie dying. I had no reaction to the event. I mean, she is a fictional character, so I noted that it happened and kept on with the story/series. Meh.

But reading Lover Reborn, I did feel the depth of Tohrment’s suffering and grief over her death. And that’s kind of why I honestly couldn’t get behind his and No’One’s ‘romance.’ I just didn’t believe that he loved her. I was into their story, because Ward does a good job of trying to convince me…but it didn’t work in the end. For me.

Also, I’m kind of just continuing the series to get to Blay and Qhuinn’s HEA. But looking at all the crap JM and Xhex were going through…who knows if it’ll happen that smoothly.

I skipped most of Xcor’s stuff. Meh. Assail was mildly interesting.

I was happy with Lassiter in the end.

I definitely wanted more Blay and Qhuinn. I thought Qhuinn was a big whiny-pants in this book. Don’t be like that boiee.

It was ok.
